SEMrush is the SEO Swiss Army knife that does literally everything. Keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink audits, site audits, rank tracking, content marketing—it's all here. Pricey but comprehensive. If you're doing client SEO seriously, you need either this or Ahrefs (or both, if you're masochistic about data).
SEMrush is what happens when someone builds an SEO tool and just keeps adding features until it does everything.
The core insight: SEO isn't one thing. It's keywords, backlinks, technical audits, content, competitor research, and rank tracking. Most tools do 1-2 well. SEMrush does all 6 competently.
**The Pricing Reality (Brace Yourself):**
